Jacques Villeneuve

Driving & Settings

Jacques was born in 1971 in Canada.

Racing runs in Jacques’ blood; his father, Gilles Villeneuve, was one of the most spectacular F1 drivers ever. Jacques inherited his father’s spectacular driving style, as all F1 fans remember when he battled Michael Schumacher for the World F1 title, which he won in 1997, in only his second year in Formula 1.

But Jacques had already shocked the world in his first year by winning pole position in his very first F1 race (a feat only two other drivers have achieved before him in F1 history).

Beyond Formula 1, Jacques has competed in many races in various types of cars, always with excellent results, such as several podiums in NASCAR and a 2nd place at Le Mans. Additionally, Jacques particularly succeeded on American tracks, winning the IndyCar title in 1995 and the Indianapolis 500 miles the same year. Jacques is the only driver to have won these three major titles together in the last 30 years.
